Privacy policy
The short version: this site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, or a newsletter, and it has no accounts and no comment forms. What follows is the long version, because a privacy policy that describes somebody else’s website is useless.
What we do not collect
Visiting, browsing, and clicking a buy link does not require you to give us anything. There is no registration on this install, no checkout, no mailing list, and no third-party tracker or ad script loaded in the page. We have nothing to sell and no profile to build.
What your browser keeps
The saved list uses your browser’s localStorage: it holds the listing slugs you tapped the save button on, on your device, so the counter survives a reload. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.
If you ever log into the WordPress admin on this domain, WordPress sets its own authentication cookies for that session. Those are for the person running the site, not for readers.
What happens when you click a buy link
Buy links leave this site and go to a retailer, usually Amazon. From that moment the retailer’s own privacy policy governs, and the retailer sets its own cookies, including one that records that the visit came from somewhere. We receive nothing from that transaction directly: the links on this site currently carry no affiliate tag, and the disclosure page states where the site stands on that. If a program tag goes live later, this page will say so.
Server logs
Like any site on any host, the web server records standard request data for each page view: IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamp. That is kept by the hosting provider for security and abuse prevention, not built into a reader profile by us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. There is no input field on the site for a child to fill in.
Your choices, and how to reach us
Anything you send us by email — a correction, a complaint about a listing, a question — you can ask us to delete, and we will. There is no account data or tracking profile to hand over or erase, because none exists.
